Ed is Evident’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Since the 1990s, Ed has led global certification and verification services for renewable energy and low-carbon projects. Ed also co-founded the global market for renewable energy certification over 25 years ago, and later helped to establish the I-REC Foundation.
Ed’s prior work and leadership included long-term advisor roles within the energy sector, providing expertise on market design, operational costs, settlement systems, market governance, equitable cost apportionment, and financial reconciliation.
Ed’s other roles have included being a director of BioPaxium Technologies, where he oversaw the Research & Development of eco-packaging solutions that are 100% home compostable, and C-suite roles for a multi-sector business with project interests in Europe, Africa, and North America.
Ed holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of
Durham.
